Story: It's time to say goodbye to manual, and say hello to automation.

Most of today's industrial-scale corporate accountants still use spreadsheets invented in 1985 that remain largely unchanged, dumb documents.
The story is simple;
We can't do much about the decor, but we can help you step into the realm of the future with a suite of super-powered, super-future, data-driven software that let's accountants move the complex mountains they need to move.
Using the blocky, stocky, humble spreadsheet as a grid system was a nostalgic nod to a world we wanted to leave behind.
Instead, the stark transition to the freeflowing datavis is where we’re headed with Bloomberg’s smart suite of tax tools.

We recreated the dull tones of the 80s' office interiors,

and contrasted that with the sleek new world of BTax workflows.

We recreated the 1985 work world in detail.

Right down to the period ux typography, the 'wall art', the decor, and the shoulder pads.

The techy workflows of the new software were brought to life using the humble spreadsheet as our design inspiration, all resolving in the BTax blue.

The work has been measurably successful. It was delivered as 40+ video assets, key social, and a solar system of materials for internal and external launches, and a large paid media campaign.
The campaign was designed as a fresh spin on a complicated conversation for an audience who are addicted to the technology of the Raegan era.
